Depression, Anxiety, and Bipolar Disorder

Depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder can significantly affect how you think, feel, and function in daily life. Depression may show up as persistent sadness, low motivation, loss of interest, and difficulty feeling hopeful. Anxiety often involves excessive worry, restlessness, physical tension, and a sense of being constantly “on edge.” Bipolar disorder can involve shifts between depressive states and periods of elevated mood, energy, or impulsivity that can feel disruptive or difficult to manage.

In therapy with me, we focus on helping you understand what you’re feeling, manage overwhelming emotions, and work through what’s been keeping you stuck.

I use practical, evidence-based approaches that help you build real skills for handling stress, improving emotional balance, and making sense of past experiences that still affect you today. This includes EMDR for trauma processing, along with skills from CBT, ACT, and DBT to support stability, coping, and meaningful change over time.
